Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles are no longer optional for responsible businesses โ they are essential. At Masto Holdings, sustainability is embedded in our corporate DNA and guides every investment decision.
When we founded Masto Holdings in 2026, we made a deliberate choice: sustainability would not be an afterthought or a marketing exercise. It would be central to our investment thesis and operational philosophy. This document shares how we've built our ESG framework and what it means for our portfolio companies.
Why ESG Matters for Long-Term Value
The data is clear: companies with strong ESG practices outperform their peers over the long term. They attract better talent, face fewer regulatory challenges, build stronger customer loyalty, and are better positioned for the future economy. For a holding company like Masto, applying ESG rigorously across our portfolio multiplies these benefits.

Implementation Across Portfolio
Every company in our portfolio undergoes an ESG baseline assessment at the time of acquisition or founding. We then develop a tailored ESG improvement roadmap with specific, measurable targets and a timeline for implementation.
Progress is reviewed quarterly at the portfolio company level and annually at the holding company level. We publish an annual sustainability report that provides transparent updates on our progress against targets.
We are committed to creating businesses that generate profits while making positive contributions to society and the environment. This is not charity โ it's smart business strategy for the 21st century.
